Companies interested in joining the consortium are required to fill out an application, which will be reviewed by BAPCo's board of directors and pay an annual Full membership fee of $7,500.00 and a $10,000 initiation fee ($17,500.00 first year). For an Associate Membership the payable amount is $7,500.00 ($5,000.00 initiation fee and $2,500.00 first year dues).

Also, BAPCo members have access to beta pre-releases before outside companies can purchase the released product.
