SYSmark 2004

SYSmark 2004 is an application-based benchmark that reflects usage patterns of business users in the areas of Internet Content Creation and Office Productivity. It was the industry's first standard tool for measuring the performance of computers running popular business applications under Windows® XP (Professional and Home) and Windows® 2000. SYSmark 2004 SE (Second Edition) was released in June of 2005 to extend support to Windows® XP Professional x64 Edition.

MobileMark 2002

Released: June 4, 2002

The industry's first standard tool for measuring battery life and performance on both Windows® XP (Professional and Home) and Windows® 2000.

SYSmark 2002

SYSmark 2002 was based on extensive research of business computing segment trends during 2001. These efforts led to the development of comprehensive and scientifically designed workloads covering a wide range of Internet Content Creation and Office Productivity applications.

SYSmark 2001

Released: April 18, 2001

SYSmark 2001 took desktop benchmarking to new levels by introducing a benchmark based on actual Office Productivity and Internet Content Creation scenarios. The scenarios focused on snap shots of a day in the life of an Office Productivity application user and Web page developer. Both scenarios incorporate business usage models that under the two new application categories of office productivity and Internet Content Creation.

WebMark 2001

Released: August 29, 2000

WebMark 2001 was the first release of the popular WebMark series of benchmarks used to evaluate Internet performance from a user’s perspective.

SYSmark DB

Released: December 14, 1998

A server benchmark is designed to measure the performance of a multi-user computer operating as a database server in an open Microsoft* SQL* Server* 6.5 client-server environment.

SYSmark 98

Released: August 26th, 1998

An application-based benchmark that measured the performance of computers running on Windows*98, Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0.

SYSmark 98 for Battery Life

Released: August 14th, 1998

An application based benchmark for notebooks measuring the battery efficiency, battery life, and performance of notebook computers running on Windows*98. It was the industry’s first standard benchmark tool designed specifically for Windows 98 and it’s ACPI (Advanced Configuration and Peripheral Interface) functionality.

SYSmark J

Released: March 25th, 1998

The industry's first standardized software that used Java applications to measure computer performance. SYSmark J allowed performance comparisons across platforms that supported Java Development Kit Version 1.1 (JDK1.1).

SYSmark for Windows NT 4.0

Released February 27, 1997

The industry's first standard tool for measuring the performance of computers running popular business applications under Windows NT 3.51 and NT 4.0. SYSmark/NT 4.0, allowed performance comparisons across both Intel and Alpha architectures.

SYSmark for File Servers

Released January 15th, 1996

SYSmark for File Servers measured the performance of file servers running popular business computing applications. The workload requested patterns to the file server mimicking those used in corporate network computing environments.
