Installation
MobileMark 2005 is distributed as a set of three discs:- MobileMark 2005 Install DVD (DVD-ROM)
- DVD Playback Media (DVD Video)
- Wireless Server 2005 (CD-ROM)
To install MobileMark 2005 onto a mobile computer, follow these steps:

Uninstall any software that is incompatible with MobileMark 2005
- Uninstall any BAPCo benchmarks.
- Uninstall any virus scanning software.
- Uninstall any of the software listed in System Requirements > Software Coexistence.

If using a non-English operating systems, follow special steps
- Follow the directions in System Requirements > Special Instructions for non-English Operating Systems before continuing.

Insert the disc labeled "MobileMark 2005 Install DVD" into your DVD-ROM drive
- On some systems, the installation program may appear automatically.
- If it does not, choose Start > Run... and type d:\setup.exe (replacing d with the letter that corresponds to your DVD-ROM drive).

Proceed through the welcome screen
- Click Next.

Read the license agreement
- If you agree, select I accept the terms of the license agreement.
- If you do not agree, you will be unable to install the benchmark.
- Click Next.

Begin the installation
- Click Install.
- Installation will begin.
- It will take between 30 minutes and an hour to finish.

After a while, you will be prompted to configure the wireless workload
- MobileMark Wireless Workload Configuration utility will appear.
- For now, unless you know what you're doing, accept the default configuration for the wireless server by clicking OK.
- You can always change the configuration later.

You will be prompted to restart the computer
- Select Yes, I want to restart my computer now.
- Click Finish.
- Installation will be complete after your computer has restarted.
