Installation

MobileMark 2007 is distributed as a set of three discs:

Only the disc labeled MobileMark 2007 Install DVD is needed for installation of the benchmark. The other disc is used at test time when running the DVD 2007 module.

Please read the following instructions carefully.

To install MobileMark 2007 onto a mobile computer, follow these steps:
  1. Prior to installation, please ensure your system meets the requirements listed in the System Requirements section of this documentation. That page details important software coexistence and system configuration information.

  2. Also please check www.bapco.com for the latest product updates, downloads and information. Prior to installation of this or any new software, you should do a full backup of your system.

  3. Insert the MobileMark 2007 Install DVD into your DVD-ROM drive. The installation program should start automatically. If it does not start, use Windows® Explorer to locate and double-click setup.exe on the Install DVD.

  4. Click Next at the welcome screen.

  5. Accept the terms of the license agreement by clicking "I accept..." and then click Next.

  6. At this point, you may be prompted to uninstall applications that conflict with MobileMark 2007. If you see this screen, you should cancel MobileMark installation and uninstall the listed applications using Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs. Once those applications are uninstalled, restart the system and begin MobileMark installation again.

  7. Click Next at the “Choose destination location” screen.

  8. Click Install at the final screen.

  9. MobileMark 2007 installation will now begin. If you are prompted during installation, follow the on-screen instructions.

Uninstallation

  1. Go to the Control Panel and click Add/Remove Programs.

  2. Select MobileMark 2007 and click Remove.

  3. You will be asked if you want to completely remove the application. Click Yes.

  4. Select the default prompts. At several points during uninstallation, you may be prompted to remove other applications that were installed by MobileMark 2007. Answer Yes to these prompts.
