Supported Operating Systems
Microsoft Windows XP (Professional or Home) with Service Pack 2
Microsoft Windows Vista (32-bit)
MobileMark 2007 is supported only on English operating systems.
Windows 2000 is not supported.
Windows XP 64-bit is not supported.
Windows Vista 64-bit is not supported.
The TabletPC Edition of Windows XP is not supported.
Software Coexistence
Because of the complex nature of benchmarks like MobileMark 2007 that install and interface with several applications, there are some important software compatibility issues of which you need to be aware.
Other BAPCo benchmark products
MobileMark 2007 cannot be installed on a computer that has any versions of MobileMark, SYSmark, or WebMark installed. Before installing MobileMark 2007, you must remove any other BAPCo benchmark software.
Applications
Upon installation, MobileMark 2007 will install customized versions of several popular applications on your system. If you have any versions of these applications installed, they must be removed prior to installing MobileMark 2007.
MobileMark 2007 is not compatible with any virus scanning software. Virus scanning software should be uninstalled prior to installing MobileMark 2007.
User Settings
- You must be a user with administrative privileges to run and install MobileMark 2007. You must run and install MobileMark 2007 with the same user ID. BAPCo recommends using the Administrator ID or creating a separate administrative user ID for the purposes of running MobileMark 2007.
- During testing, these features should be disabled:
- Screen savers and monitor standby
- System hibernation/standby
- Low-battery alarms/notifications
- In Vista, User Access Control (UAC) must be turned off.
