Special Notes for non-US English Operating Systems

SYSmark 2004 SE can be run on a system supporting other languages, even those with different character sets. SYSmark 2004 SE is supported on Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish operating systems. However, some extra steps need to be taken before the run.

Keyboard Settings

In Start -> Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options, under the "Languages" tab, click on the "Details" button in the "Text services and input languages" group box. In the "Settings" tab make sure that the "Default input language" listed under the pull-down menu is "English (United States) - US". Under the "Installed services" group-box make sure that the only installed service is the "English (United States) keyboard" as shown in the snapshot below.

Regional Settings

In Start -> Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options, make sure the "Standards and formats" group box under the "Regional Options" tab is set to "English (United States)

Date Format

In Start -> Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options, click on the "Customize" button in the"Standards and formats" group box (under the "Regional Options" tab). Choose the "Date" tab. The "Short date format" should be set to M/d/yyyy
