Installation

SYSmark 2007 Preview is distributed on 2 DVD ROMs that contains everything you need to install and run the benchmark suite. Please READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS CAREFULLY.

Before you install the benchmark, please read the System Requirements and the Software Compatibility Notes. Also check www.bapco.com for the latest product updates, downloads and information. Prior to installation of this or any new software, you should always do a full backup of your system.

• Insert your SYSmark 2007 Preview Main Install DVD into your DVD-ROM drive. The installation program should start automatically. If it does not start, use Windows® Explorer to locate “setup.exe” and double-click this file.
• Click "Next" at the Welcome screen.
• Select "I ACCEPT" at the license agreement.
• At this point, if you get a “List of installed applications” screen, you will need to uninstall these listed applications before proceeding.
• Click “Next” at the “Choose Destination Location” screen.
• Click “Install” at the Install screen.
• SYSmark 2007 Preview installation will now begin. Follow any other instructions as prompted.
• When prompted for Disc 2, insert this DVD and click “OK”.

Uninstallation

• Go to the Control Panel and click on “Add/Remove Programs”.
• Select SYSmark 2007 Preview and click on “Change/Remove”.
• At several points during un-installation, you may be prompted to remove other applications that were installed by SYSmark 2007 Preview. Answer "yes" to these prompts.
