Special notes for non-US English operating systems
WebMark 2004 can be run on a system supporting other languages, even those with different character sets. WebMark 2004 supports Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish. However, some extra steps need to be taken before the run.
Keyboard Settings
Windows XP: In Start -> Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options, under the "Languages" tab, click on the "Details" button in the "Text services and input languages" group box. In the "Settings" tab make sure that the "Default input language" listed under the pull-down menu is "English (United States) - US". Under the "Installed services" group-box make sure that the only installed service is the "English (United States) keyboard" as shown in the snapshot below.See Keyboard Window on Windows XP
Windows 2000: In Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Keyboard, make sure the Language box (under the Language tab) lists only English (United States) - United States 101 and the "Default language" is listed as "English (United States)". If it is set to another language/keyboard style, you need to install the US 101 keyboard driver and uninstall any other drivers.

Regional Settings
Windows XP: In Start -> Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options, make sure the "Standards and formats" group box under the "Regional Options" tab is set to "English (United States)See Regional Settings window on Windows XP
Windows 2000: In Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Regional Settings, make sure the Regional Settings are set to English (United States).

Date Format
Windows XP: In Start -> Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options, click on the "Customize" button in the"Standards and formats" group box (under the "Regional Options" tab). Choose the "Date" tab. The "Short date format" should be set to M/d/yyyySee date format window on Windows XP
Windows 2000: In Start ->Settings -> Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options, click on the "Date" tab. Change the "Short date style" to M/d/yyyy
